I received another 70 for BEC. I used solely NNJA MCQs. Should I continue to use my current study plan? I am in the 70s so does that mean I am somewhat there? Please help!

Get the ninja notes. Read them. Copy them. Do the MCQ as well. Clearly just doing the MCQ is not an effective strategy for you for this particular exam, on another section it may be enough.

Thank you kind sir. I do have the Ninja Notes however I refused to re-write due to time constraints. I think I will re-write them this time around and hopefully pull a 75+.

If you've got the MCQs down, maybe it's time to look at the BEC sims as a possible source of points. You only need 1-5 points to get over the hump, so have you thought about focusing on writing skills, grammar, punctuation, etc.? I think that's a lot easier than focusing again on the same things as before.

I would check your average score on your progress report (not the trending score) on all the BEC I failed my average score is what I got on exams. If this is not accurate for you add writing practice for sims. Don't give up just give more! You can do this!

I'm in the same boat except I got another 71 (60, 71, 71) just doing Ninja MCQ. I've failed BEC 3 times, 1 with Becker and 2 with Ninja MCQ. I was thinking about adding notes, now I think that'll be my something extra for my July rematch rematch rematch…LOL.

IF I FALL, I WILL GET BACK UP. IF I AM BEATEN, I WILL RETURN.

Just got a 73 on BEC. On the bright side it's a 2 point improvement…on the not bright side there is another 200 bucks and however many hours of my life back to the AICPA.

I used solely Ninja MCQ for my two failures, as well as the notes. I was doing really well but got hit with a bunch of Obscure Corporate Governance questions on the exam, and I don't feel like Ninja does that great of a job with that Chapter. Trying out free trials of other review programs, I saw they went a lot more in depth on COSO etc. Also COSO is my job, so I probably shouldn't even use that for an excuse!

But anyway, I am thinking I might grab Roger CRAM for BEC (I think he was the reason for my 76 in FAR finally) and supplement with a new MCQ bank, CPAexcel? I have seen a lot of people suggesting you use two different MCQ banks for BEC, and they might be right. Ninja notes are always a good idea though, as well as rewriting like crazy!

For reference I was trending 78 with an average score of 74 in Ninja. It wasn't from memorizing either, I was doing really well on the “CPAreviewforfree” questions before the exam. I love Ninja, but I think after two failures switching it up is a good tactic. You guys got it next time! Getting in the 70's definitely sucks because it's kind of like dangling the carrot. You are close, and it is incredibly possible for you to pass but we just need a bit more money and time from you!

I still can't believe this is real.

Yea I may focus on my grammar and maybe that will get me the extra 1-5 points. It’s definitely frustrated knowing that more hours well need to be spent and more $$ to the AICPA.

@Tardis, I also had random corporate governance questions that I wasn’t prepared for. I was Stronger in Corporate governance the last 2 times I sat for BEC lol. I’m not giving up. So close to passing. WE GOT THIS!

I just recently came accross ACDCLeadership on YOUTUBE and so far its a really great help reguarding ECON. I have also been you tubing specific areas I feel unsure about and just listening to it explained a few different ways is starting to help me.

July will be my 3rd attempt at BEC as well. I've used becker and Ninja, mostly Ninja this time around.

I just wanted to share. Good luck
