BEC – anyone else struggle with going through 60-70 practice MCQ's?

I’m going through BEC using Becker and trying to get through the 60-70 MCQs for each topic is making me go crazy and giving me a headache. I can’t seem to sit down and focus on doing computational questions that require me to think for 2hours… Am I the only one who struggle with this or do others struggle as well?

Maybe I’m just spoiled from having studied AUD where the MCQ didn’t require too much paper, pen, and thinking.

You're not alone. I just started studying BEC yesterday using Becker. I am already struggling, especially with the cost accounting material. It is definitely not something I am familiar with and it is frustrating to try to get through these MCQs without a good understanding of the material. I've heard BEC is the “least difficult” exam, but it has been a struggle for me so far.

It is hard… I am currently doing NInja BEC mcq and they are pretty difficult and your mind escapes after a while. I told myself to do 1000mcq over the weekend, and beginning Friday (after work) and up to today I only did little over 500..

I need to do finance and cost accounting, which will take longer, and I have test tomorrow! Maybe I will redo wiley study guide, doubt I can do them all in less than a day.

    🙁

I will probably review and go over wrong problems before test on Monday..

I think once you go over 100 continuously (ofc with little break every 30 testlets..) my mind gets tired. It would be great to have better attention span but I just cannot do it lol..

Also while studying this forum is no good!

i did BEC after AUD and i hated that i had to sit at a desk to do BEC after sitting in a comfortable chair throughout my review for AUD. after my initial pass and intense note taking sessions and first attempts at calculations i was able to sit back on the couch do the rest of my review. i used my tablet and lap desk to get through the remaining time. it sounds so lazy and spoiled but i sit at a desk most of the time at work and doing so again at night and weekends was hard to take. i was so happy when i was able to move back to a more comfortable setting. hang in there – you can get comfortable again as you progress!!!

I could never understand why people would always get their lowest score out of the 4 exam on BEC until I took the exam myself. And I also got my lowest score on it. I passed FAR and Audit with 85% and 84%, but barely made it on BEC with a 75%. It does have the highest passing rate, but I guess its not as easy as people think. I noticed that they go into too much detail with Economics and IT, which are the two parts I hated the most.

I am literally dying trying to study right now. I just spent 5 hours studying all these stupid formulas and my head is about to explode. I took it once and know that they do not require intense calcs like Becker is having me do, but I still feel like I need to know them! I heard a few others who have taken it within the last week were surprised by how many calcs they have, praying it will not be the case for us! I took a break and ate some lunch and just sitting here staring at the screen now. Still hate this test…
