   hey guys, i haven't been on here for a while now, went through some major emotional and mental trauma the past few month, but i'm back and i'm as motivated as ever to get through this nonsense.

   i got the new becker book for bec for the 2011, i was wondering if anybody has any experience with it by passing their exam with it yet?

   any help or advice would be appreciated.

   it feels good to be back.

   I passed the 2011 exam using 2010 material with an 85. Didn't look at anything about corporate governance until the morning of the exam for 30-45 minutes. I scored comparative in that section. A lot of people complain about the corporate governance questions not being anything like they saw in the review material and how difficult they were, but I really thought they were pretty straightforward for the most part. Also, I didn't have the updated material for the IT portions that changed and my score reflected that. I still scored comparative on that part, but on the 2010 practice exam, I got 24/25 right, so I should have been in the strong category on that section, you would have thought. But for the most part, I thought the exam was pretty straight forward with a few hard questions. You should be able to do well as long as you really learn concepts and not just try to memorize formulas for the calculations.

   REG - 76
   FAR - 82

   I passed with Becker first attempt on FAR, AUD, and REG but not BEC. I've failed BEC twice now and is considering other review materials. Others have passed BEC with Becker but I did not feel that Becker prepare me well for BEC. I felt I know the materials in Becker well 2nd time around and ended up with a lower score (73 vs. 68).
