I know that this is not the time to think about all this when you have your test in another 6 days, But I am feeling nervous about all those formulas, and variety of information this section covers. Nothing is like building block, 1 chapter from Finance another from IT and suddenly Economics pops in.

I feel nervous than ever. And question keep coming in mind and haunting that does Becker prepares you well enough for test? I am scoring on an average of 70% in some topics and 75 to 80% in another.

What you think friends, What can I do to put myself in better position of passing?

One more question haven’t practiced WC at all yet. I really don’t know what to do about that 15% exam coverage area.

I don’t know what am I writing but I feel super panic..right now..

    Any advice, tips, highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    BEC: 75% work done
    REG: It's 80 but I am 100% done 🙂

I used Becker and Ninja Audio for BEC and passed with an 88. All I did for the WC portion was listen to the lecture and look at a few examples, I never actually practiced any.

    FAR 7/8/14 - 88 - Becker live course
REG 10/14/14 - 82 - Becker live course, Ninja notes and audio
BEC 11/25/14 - 88 - Becker live course, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions
AUD 2/3/15 - 94 - Becker self study, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions

I passed with an 83 using Becker. I read the WC examples from Becker right before the test and watched the video they had on them a few weeks prior.

    Woohoo, I'm a CPA!!

    FAR - 82
    AUD - 71, 89
    REG - 87
    BEC - 83

@tami3492 when you say you looked few samples means the one that is there in the book or you actually read the WC from all chapters simulation on software?

I think its good enough but you have to COMPLETELY utilize it for the multiple choice. Don't cut any corners.

    AUD - 73,91
    FAR - 79 - Thank you God!
    BEC - 73,79!!!!
    REG - 92 whatttt??!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

    Done! Praise God!

Don't mean to hijack the thread here, but for those that have passed using Becker, would you happen to have any words of advice/tips for those of us studying for BEC now? I take it next week and I don't feel prepared at all (this is my only and last chance to take it). All the information is overwhelming and there's no linkage between the various sections. Making me a bit nervous.

    FAR - ✓
    AUD - ✓
    REG - ✓
    BEC - ✓

    Don't give up!

    79 with Becker only.

Just pound those MC. Many of the questions on the exam are pretty close to some of the examples in Becker.

87 with Becker only. Only did the multiple choice and didn't do a single written communication.

No_one, I'm in the same boat as you. I actually have my exam on Tuesday. I've been studying full time (6-8+ hours a day) for the past 3-4 weeks for this test with only Becker. Now that it's getting close, I'm getting extremely nervous.

I feel comfortable with chapters 1-5, except for Variances in chapter 2. As for chapter 6, I'm fine with Globalization, but need a bit more practice with the other half of the chapter (Financial Risk Management). I'm praying that I won't get too many questions from those two topics.

For the next 3 days, I'm planning on just redoing all the MCQ for every chapter. After that I am going to go into the glossary section just to review all the words and memorize all the formulas.

As for the written section, I've watched the intro video to it. I'm going to probably spend either Sunday or Monday just reviewing all the samples.

I keep seeing posts about Becker not being enough for IT. Can anyone who has recently taken the exam give their input?

I thought Becker was sufficient for IT. I think the issue is that a lot of people gloss over IT. I'm not saying to study it as hard as variances, but review it for 2 hours and you should be good.

Another question for you mw798, were the questions harder, easier or the same as compared to all the Becker HW questions over all?

    Thank you! =D

I felt the questions were slightly harder than Becker for BEC. However, for FAR, I thought the Becker questions were way harder than the actual exam. Also there were some questions that were worded in a tricky manner. Make sure you read the question twice if you need to, there were more than a few questions which I initially picked the wrong answer before re-reading the question. My recommendation is to go over your answers and leave only about 1 hour for the written. I left about 1 hour 30 mins for the WC and I finished the exam with over 30 mins to spare. Those 30 mins would have probably been better spent reviewing my MC answers.

I used Becker and Ninja Audio

I DID practice writing in order to get the feel for the paragraphs, structure, etc of the writing they expect. I cruised through the WC.
