Hey all,

I am about to start the final review phase for BEC coming up on the 22nd? Any tips/suggestions/focus areas from the recently passed folks? How detailed to these calculations get on the exam? The Becker questions seem to take 5 min just to read the question.

I just took BEC on 1/31. Remember to study all of the formulas. The problems on the exam are very close to what you see in your study material. Remember to get rest before the exam, so your mind will be refreshed. I got sick the weekend of my exam, so it forced me to get rest, which I feel is what I needed. Best of luck to you both.

Passed BEC a few months ago with an 83. Personally, while studying, I focused on materials/price variances, break-even analysis, and some of the basic ratios (current & quick). Conceptually, you need to know Corporate Governance and IT. If you feel good about those topics and can do a few calculations, you will be in good shape. The writing portion is a joke. Just restate the topic and form a few comprehendible sentences with key words.
