Hi, Im taking BEC in a few weeks and have gone through the material a few times and now averaging around an 80 for each chapter. I have heard you there are not too many math based questions and a lot of it is term based? Would others who have experience agree with this?

Is there any chapters using becker to focus on more then others?

And can u make up content for written com. even if wrong and as long as it’s technically sound get full credit?

    Thanks for any help

You never really know what you are going to get with BEC. You could see a ton of calculations or you might see just a few. Make sure you know how to do the calculations just in case. The WC aren't that hard to do, as long as you follow the directions and make sure your writing is grammatically correct you will be alright.

I wouldn't make up stuff. If you don't know the answer, restate the question then say “I am unfamiliar with this topic. I will research (fill in the blank) and respond to your request before the close of business this Friday.”

I think you will be better off admitting that you don't know the answer than to make up something that is obviously incorrect.

I don't think I am violating exam disclosure here but I remember on my final BEC exam, I had a WC in which I was able to use terms and language from which I had anticipated MC questions that involved computations. And I knew that topic inside and out. Pretty sure I received full credit for that one! So you never know if working a gillion MC questions will help you indeed there or elsewhere.

    Never know with this beast.
