BEC – Final Push

I’m taking BEC on Friday. I have absolutely nothing on my plate at work right now, which is really working to my advantage as you can imagine. I have the next three days mapped out as far as my review goes. My question is, what should my plan on Friday be? My test isn’t until 1pm so I’ll have from 8am – Noon to review right before the test. What should that four hours consist of? I’m starting to feel pretty comfortable with the material.

    FAR - 70, 81
    AUD - 83
    BEC - 77
    REG - 70, 78

Now what the hell do I do?

I give this advice a lot.

Don't study at all on Friday. You want to go into the exam with a clear head and not confuse yourself on the material. You either know it or you don't. If you know it, you don't want to confuse yourself or start to second guess stuff you know. If you don't know it, will those extra couple of hours nail it down for you?

I always studied on exam day, but only light review– not hardcore on MCQs or anything like that. I depend too much on my short-term memory picking up on random facts to stop reviewing so early. So I reviewed notes, maybe did some flashcards, and definitely listened to Ninja Audio. But still the most important thing for me was to be relaxed and get my focus ready.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I disagree with the idea of not studying on exam day.

Skip studying the night before the exam and relax, have fun, blow off some steam, get a plenty of sleep.

Then in the morning… do a quick review of all notes and formulas. The short term memory from review this right before the test is vital! I had a large number of calculations.

I did this for BEC and passed comfortably.. despite running out of time and leaving a written question blank 🙂

I say review but stop about a half hour before the exam, make sure you had at least 5-6 hours sleep, plan your meal ahead so you're feeling comfortable while taking the exam, so not hungry or sleeping. Do not overload on caffeine or red bull, make sure you're feeling physically ready by 1

Review summaries tho, your ninja notes or whatever equivalent. Don't dive into chapters, just your overall brief summary to refresh everything
