Reading everyone’s experience is making me scared for score release on friday, so i wanted to know how the wc are graded? can someone bs most of it? and has anyone felt ok about this exam and actually passed? I’m scared this will be like far where i thought i passed and didnt.

Experience on the exam went like this: First testlet went ok. Second testlet was much harder so I must’ve done ok on the first. The difficulty of testlet two really messed me up, kinda felt crushed by it. maybe got like 8-9 wrong. Third testlet got much easier (so it confirms i messed the second teslet) I felt like i did pretty good on it . WC were easy and should get most points here.

I had the exact same experience last month. I mean the second testlet all felt like pretest questions. It was crap I have never even heard of. Even with that crappy testlet I managed a 79 from the points I got in the other 3. I hope you have a similar result! Good Luck!

    FAR - 79
    BEC - 72, 79
    REG - 75
    AUD - 84

I am super nervous for this score. It is my last one. Felt decent after I left which might be a bad sign…

I think that is a good idea. I am really looking forward to enjoying my summer if I am lucky enough to close this thing out!

I took BEC in February and thought I passed only to get a 73. I felt like crap but I kept studying and re-took the exam in April and thought I did better the first time around then the second. The second exam all the questions seemed really hard and the Writing section I didn't even finish or get to spell check one of the essays. I was convinced I failed and ended up passing with a 77. You never know how you actually did until you get those scores. GL!

    REG - 63,74,70,81!!!
    FAR - 44,73, 81!!!!
    AUD - 51,81!
    BEC - 73,77!!

3 years later and I'm officially done. Never give up no matter what!

    Classic BEC exam experience thread.

OP, what review material did you use? I believe the dominating criteria for WC are the tone and structure of the communication; the actual content/quality of your points may be inaccurate but not downright irrelevant from what I understand. In other words, very bs-able as long as it looks professional.

I didn't receive a score report as OH doesn't send them out for passes. Other states do however – I know CA does for a fact.

I took BEC in February and the release date happened to fall on a Friday. Because I was on the pass/fail borderline, they had an actual human scorer look at my exam to see if they could either find a point or two or take one away. Otherwise the entire exam is computer graded, so as long as your essays had solid structure and the right buzzwords you should be ok. I had to wait until Monday to find out that I got a 74, which really stunk! I'll be waiting for my retake score this Friday, so hopefully all of us get some good news this week! Good luck to all!

    FAR - 10/1/13 - 78
    AUD - 11/14/13 - 77
    REG - 1/12/14 - 78
    BEC - 2/23/14- 74, 5/29/14- 84!! I'm Done!!

    guys,

so, acording to NASBA, The score release date for Q2 is :

If you take it by AICPA received your scored by : Your scored will be released by:

    May 31 June 1 June 9

i dont know if you noticed but there is a note that says: “Some candidates who take the BEC section might receive their scores about one week following the target release date due to additional analysis that might be required for the written communication tasks. Scores are generally released during regular business hours”

Having said that i guess SOME of us are going to wait a week longer which is very frustrating… and its even worse if the file is recieved after June 1 which means the scored would be released June 18…

    I am so stressed…

    FAR: PASSED

    AUD: PASSED

    REG: PASSED

    BEC: 71, 71, Waiting 🙁

I didn't leave myself enough time for WCs. Wrote some nonsense for one and ran out of time on the last and had tons of spelling mistakes. As long as your MCQ went well I don't think WCs are much to worry about.

    AUD- 86
    FAR- 79
    BEC- 83
    REG- 87
