BEC- Keeping it all straight

Anyone else overwhelmed by BEC? I’m testing on the 27th so I still have a little bit of time, but it seems like the more I focus on my weak areas the more I lose on the areas that I was doing better on.

For a while I wasn’t having much trouble remembering the formulas, but now that I’ve seen more and more of them, even the ones I knew are starting to get jumbled.

And really, how many different rates of return (and varying names to call each) do we need? My vote is that there are entirely too many.

Honestly, I’ve slacked on the amount of time I’ve spent studying over the last week and I think that’s why I’m struggling so much with the MCQ’s today. So this is as much a vent at myself than anything, but does anyone have any tips/tricks/cheatsheets that make keeping the material fresh and the formulas straight a little easier?

I think I need to spend some time rewriting the NINJA notes this week in addition to the MCQ’s….

    AUD- 95
    FAR- 75
    BEC- 83
    REG- 85

Officially done! Exclusively used NINJA for BEC, REG, and FAR

The last part of your post pretty much sums it up – just keep rewriting the formulas until you feel comfortable with them.

After every chapter of Becker I would make a formula sheet that listed all of the important equations from the chapter and I would just make flashcards/rewrite the ones I didn't know.

Obviously there are an excess of formulas, many of which you probably won't see on the exam, but it is better safe than sorry when it comes to relatively easy points

    AUD - 99
    BEC - 96
    REG - 92
    FAR -
