    NINJA Question –

I only have FAR to compare it to, but did anyone else get their butt kicked by this one? Man, these are some absolutely savage questions. In the course of one day I went from trending 83 to trending 68.

    FAR - PASS
    BEC - PASS

I used CPAexcel and Ninja MCQs for BEC, and I agree that Ninja's MCQs are more difficult than CPAexcel's. However, I do think the reason why I passed BEC on the first attempt was due to the fact that I added Ninja MCQs to my study plan. So definitely keep at them and you'll start seeing better scores. My one suggestion is to not waste too much time trying to understand the really difficult/complex calculations on the Ninja MCQs. You definitely don't need to fully comprehend all of those in order to pass the exam. I think I was trending in the mid-80s right before the exam. Best of luck to you!

I'm trending 62% with a week left to go before my exam. There is a LOT of stuff in the MCQ's not included in Wiley and even less from Becker. When I finished the questions (saw each one once), I was trending 66% in Corporate Governance. I thought it would be easy since I was fresh off of REG and it was a review of AUD. Wrong! There were many topics I haven't seen before. To top it all off, they use more convoluted language than other review courses. Ninja has several questions where I was asking what the hell does this mean in English. With BEC being my last section, I can tell you that compared to other sections, they have the most topics not in other review courses.

    FAR 57 (11/2014), 64 (1/2015), 79 (7/2015)
    AUD 68 (2/2015), 79 (11/2015)
    REG 79 (1/2016)
    BEC 81 (4/2016)

I switched to NINJA MCQ about a week before my test and got really depressed at how bad I was doing and then switched back to Becker! lol. I took my exam 4/8 … hopefully the decision didn't hurt me. I just wasn't getting the stuff they were asking. I felt like I had a really good grasp of the material finishing up Becker for the 3rd time, but I lost a lot of confidence with NINJA. I feel the exam questions are more like Becker than NINJA.

I just hope I passed! BEC is the worst.

jlee1086 – I noticed some of the grammar and sentence structure in Ninja MCQ was pretty wacky too. Some of these have to be made up questions. In six exams, I've never seen this type of grammatical weakness in an actual exam question.

NINJA uses AICPA-licensed questions…if you have an example of a wacky grammatically-challenged question, I would be glad to take a look. I know some courses spread their hard questions across several products…the software…books…a final cram-type product to avoid redundancy across the platforms. NINJA MCQ has all of the questions included in the one product, so that could be part of why NINJA stands out in terms of difficulty.

Most people are glad they ran through the gauntlet when it's all said and done.

Man o man…two days ago, I was on cloud 9 after I finished studying. Yesterday, I almost cried before I was even finished studying LOL (seriously). I've been toying with the idea of running back to Roger's test bank because I wanted to see what I'm doing wrong. Some of the questions are referencing things I've never heard of or seen in my current review program. Honestly, that can be good or bad. All I know is that these calculation problems make my head spin most of the time and that's driving me nuts.

Do NOT quit! There's more in you and if you quit you'll never see it. Show you that you can do it.

    @accrual – whatzup. 🙂

I found some similar threads from the past…some of the people complaining about how hard they were actually passed when you look at their signatures 🙂

Is the ninja BEC test bank that hard, or I dont know shsss?

@ itsanaccrualworld – Yes, I felt like I really refined a lot of my weak areas. I went back through the program in its totality, not skipping anything. I just didn't have enough time to go through NINJA as effectively. I felt ok when I went through the recently released questions and got most of them correct.

Thanks for the links (and the program) Jeff. My apologies for coming across as accusatory. I can't recite the exact wording of weird questions off the top of my head, but I do recall one in which the phrase “engagement documentation”, was literally used four times in one short sentence. As I read it, I envisioned my high school English teacher having an aneurysm. But as you clarified, and I should have given the benefit of the doubt, the MCQs are AICPA-licensed.

I have definitely noticed some questions that cover areas that I wasn't even aware of after completing Becker twice, which lends to the “difficulty” of Ninja. Hopefully that pays off for me next Tuesday…

Next one is my 4th time taking BEC…I used Becker and failed with 69 then 67, got busy with moving to different states, started BEC again this year but Becker expired so just used Wiley test bank and score was 73.

I am adding Ninja this time and I also feel its difficult…more conceptual questions than Becker but more like actual exam. I had a question I remember that I couldn't figure out how to calculate in my last exam but I found a close calculation question when I am doing Ninja MCQ

Also my exam performance for the MCQ is always comparable or strong but WC is weak. Ninja had way more WC questions than test bank so hopefully it will add me 2 more points this time. Im trending around 80 for the Ninja MCQ.

BEC was my last exam and I thought it was going to be a breeze because I passed the other three on my first attempt.

    I was completely wrong…

BEC did feel like preparing for FAR again. In fact, going into the exam I was least confident about BEC and wasn't sure I passed. I used CPAExcel to learn the material and NINJA MCQ to prepare for the exam.
