    Ninjas!

I need some serious advice…. I’m planning on re taking BEC x3 and ran out of materials…. no lectures, no mcq’s…. and funds…….

I can’t afford to purchase a whole new lecture plan…. any suggestions on how to tackle this re-take?

Test is schedule for first week in April.

    Thanks!

Gosh – well you definitely need study materials.

Can you borrow the money or put it on a credit card?

As far as I know, Ninja MCQ is the least expensive option out there and it gets good reviews (I've never used it)

What have you used so far?

Usually, when you renew/extend a program it's much less expensive than buying something completely new (although probably still not as low as $47 Ninja MCQ)

Also, you can search youtube for videos on various topics. Those are free.

Can you find someone who has already taken the exams and use their books?

Start asking around to everyone you know – ask if they know someone who has taken the exams recently. Ask if you can use their books.

    @Priscilla

I was sort of in the same situation as you. I put the Ninja MCQ (Approx $50) on a card and went with that because my wiley stuff was from 2012 and I kept failing. My first try with Ninaj MCQs I passed with a 77! Honestly I could probably have killed it but I just took 5 days off of work and drilled the hell out of those MCQs with my lecture notes that I have been using since the first attempt.

Not a sure shot solution but $50 for a MCQ that is really up to date really worked for me as I am low on funds as well. I'm going to do the same when retaking Audit and REG.

Are the ninja MCQ worth it if you have the will test bank?

    Thank you all for responding.

I was able to get Becker extended – to at least go back and review lectures for difficult topics…. I will get Ninja mcq's again… mine already expired……

    Good luck everyone!

I honestly feel that the Nija MCQs were much better than the Wiley. I would imagine that was in part due to the fact that the Wiley MCQs that I had including the phone App hadn't been updated since 2012, whereas the Ninja was pretty up to date. I had heard other people on these forums say their scores were higher when using Ninja so I decided to try because my BEC scores were always at the cusp with Wiley but never passing.

Definitely recommend the NINJA MCQ! The price is right and I used it for my last retake of REG because my Roger course expired (I had Wiley too). I still had the books, but I really didn't need them. I just did NINJA MCQs and took notes. I had 100's of pages of notes…

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.
