This is my 3rd attempt at retaking BEC, just barley missed it the last two times and I am taking it in 19 days.

Would you waste your time rewatching the Becker Lectures? For what I think will now be the 4th time?

Just curious about what other peoples study habits are, as I feel like this might be a boring, waste of time.

NINJA MCQ until 85% trending score past the assessment phase. Make sure you have enough time to tackle the written portion which should be a gimme as a UF alum.

No more vids at this point unless you know you have a definite weak spot and a vid might help.

    BEC - 78
    AUD - 75
    REG - 74, 79
    FAR - 75

You have to buy a ticket to win the raffle.

I would do MCQ and then listen to lectures of areas you are doing poorly in and take notes!

    AUD-70, 71, 85
    BEC-63, 76
    REG-77
    FAR-76

I agree. No more videos. MCQ and go over notes. Rewrite the notes to reinforce the concepts. Flashcards for the formulas. repeat, repeat, repeat until test day. Take a look at a few WC examples just to see what they are looking for, but I wouldn't practice writing any out unless you aren't confident in your writing abilities. You can do this. Good luck!

I would focus on these items since I saw them show up on many BEC exams:

    COSO

    Variances

Break-even analysis (I hate that stuff)

    Memorize all formulas (capital budgeting)

Allocate enough time for the written part (around 50 minutes to an hour)

Of course this doesn't mean you should neglect everything else, but be completely certain u have these down.

    Best of luck!!

I am in the same boat, taking BEC for the 3rd time on the 29th. I HAVE to pass or I lose AUD…I've been doing MC, Re-writing Ninja Notes, Listening to Ninja Audio everytime I am in the car. I think my three boys have it memorized and with one going to college in two years hopefully it will pay off for him too!

Best of luck, WE GOT THIS!

    Audit - 78
    REG - 53, 76
    BEC 71, 69 75
    FAR - 74, 74, 73, 79!!!

The NINJA flashcards were really helpful for BEC. Also, you could make your own flashcards. Either way, I drilled those flash cards for a week leading up to the exam, 20 times a day maybe. Try doing some flashcards for BEC i found them very helpful

    Passed All Four Exams!

I used Roger's BEC cram course on my retake.. LOVED IT! I had orginally used Becker material and I got so much more out of the Roger course. I felt so much better walking out of that exam than I did any of the exams I took with Becker. His teaching style clicked with me and the stuff that made no sense when Becker explained it made complete sense when he did. Just my two cents! I have two more retakes to go (far and reg) and I've already ordered the cram courses for those two as well.

    Aud - 80
    Reg - 79
    Bec - 78
    Far - 75 and I am DONE!!!
