    Incorrect

The answer is B. Comparable sales.

“The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    This was a tricky one

Do you think that we need to know the specific prison terms for various frauds..i.e. destroying documentation, retaliation against whistleblowers, etc, or just that they can be fined and./or imprisoned for these things? I didnt see any questions that got into specifics regarding this but I just wanted to see if anyone else was taking the time to memorize this.

I am not memorizing them. Some of them do stick when you read them the 2nd time. I don't think it is important to remember them. Keep in mind I have not yet taken the BEC exam.

Are the simulations in Ninja MCQ actually scored somehow, or are they basically self-scoring, like in the Wiley Test Bank?

Wahhh I don't know when to take my test! I was originally going to take it the 11th, then changed it to the 3rd, then changed it to the 25th but realized I would be too jet lagged after a trip to Europe for work, coming back the 22nd and moved it back to the 11th and now I'm wondering I should just hustle and get it done on the 3rd. I'm finishing up B2 tonight and seem to be getting through everything ok. I don't know what to doooooooo

@NJ I know you're in internal audit…is your schedule crazy over the summer? My schedule is insane right now and all the sudden I feel so stressed out with work and the exams! I'm so glad I got FAR out of the way before all the craziness started.

@Amanda – My busy season falls from the start to the end of non testing months with a rather “smooth” work-flow during testing months. The week or two before FAR though was an exception since I went to Kansas for a business trip and testing started early than we had anticipated, which could have been why my immune system was shot and I got sick the night before the exam lol.

I'm really hoping that my studies for BEC go smooth and I'm able to forget about summer and just carry on with studying, but before from the east coast, it's unlikely. haha I just thank God that I am not in public anymore where I would be working insane hours on pension/401k plan audits and gearing up for a 6/30 year end. I can't imagine studying if I were still in Public.

I hope everyone's studying is going well! I started B1 yesterday (Becker)..I am going to enjoy these first few lectures because I know it gets harder after that! I am hoping I can get motivated and stay on schedule. I think this forum really will help me focus. ^^ work is pretty busy for me right now so I agree with you Amanda, so glad FAR is done. I have some family/church committments coming up in July so I am hoping I can just stay on task these next few weeks.

NJ – did you decide on a test day yet? It is too soon for me to think about that but I am thinking mid August hopefully!

    AUD - 73,91
    FAR - 79 - Thank you God!
    BEC - 73,79!!!!
    REG - 92 whatttt??!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

    Done! Praise God!
