    Incorrect

    The answer is B. Comparable sales.

    “The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    This was a tricky one

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76

    @Casa – yay for another Yaeger folk! I'm just hoping I can get through the lectures this time – Cindy's FAR lectures drove me up a wall, and I finally had to give it up and just hammer out the MCQs. Not the most efficient way of studying, but those lectures were just not cutting it for me. Really really hope these ones are better….

    @Happen4reason-I am using the Ninja MCQ. I just started yesterday and got through corporate governance last night. I plan to start section 2 today on my lunch break. I am going to go through a section per day to get through all of the stuff once, and then start going through them again by adding a section every couple of days to keep it all fresh. I used WTB my first go-round and felt very prepared for the exam. I just rushed through the MCQ and don't feel like I read the questions properly. I will take my time next go-round! I also got a 71. Bummer, huh. We'll get it this next time! Good luck!

    FAR 82
    REG 76
    BEC 71, 78 (There is a light!!!)
    AUD 69, 83 (DONE!!!!)

    Amanda, SOX requires majority of board to be independent and requires audit committee to be independent but it does not require the compensation committee to be independent.

    Hmm is it B? For some reason, I don't remember the compensation committee being covered in B1- are you using Becker? If so, do you remember which section this is covered in?

    @Happen4Reason

    I have Roger and the full NINJA program. The NINJA MCQ are a lot tougher than Roger's MCQ. I can routinely score 90% over 30 questions on the Roger MCQ and am stuck at 65% over 30 questions on the NINJA MCQ. I feel like the NINJA material is 90% different than Roger and I am studying for 2 different tests. It has me guessing which material will be more relevant and best prepare me for the test. Even the NINJA BEC book appears to be a lot longer and cover more material. My hope is to read (skim?) through that book too and take notes here and there if I feel it necessary.
