I use becker. I have seen the question in my homework but I cannot find where it explains that question

Answer is A. I have no idea why. Any ideas? The explanation was insufficient.

I really took a guess at it through process of elimination and familiar terminology.

Thank you for the thoughts and encouragement. I think I will move on to FAR, bu at least once or twice a week I'll do some sets of BEC questions to keep the info fresh. I won't full on study both, but maybe it'll help keep everything in my head. Mostly.

The exam seemed to be 60/40 theory/math. I would say that in each testlet I had 4-5 questions that required calculation. I would suggest focusing on IT and operations management, but those were my weakest areas to begin with. I will say that it's important to know current IT concepts, not just what they talk about in the study guides.

For my first test I used Kaplan materials, and felt like I was relatively well prepared – I think I could have done better had I practiced more questions. This time my Kaplan book was well out of date, so I used the NINJA book, notes, and test bank. The IT section was definitely lacking in the NINJA book, but I'm hoping that my general knowledge of the subject got me through.

    Exam:I'm done 🙂 🙂 🙂
    REG - 71 (2/22/14); 67 (4/3/14); 74 (8/29/15); 83 (2/29/16)!!!
    BEC - 72 (5/24/14); 85 (1/3/15)!!!!
    AUD - 72 (8/23/14); 76 (10/15/14)!!!
    FAR - 77 (5/26/15)!!!

Started in 2013 using Kaplan and failed REG, REG, BEC, AUD. Switched to NINJA suite in Sept 2014 and passed AUD...then BEC...then FAR!
REG took 2 tries but I finally got it in too!
I'm a hard convert - Using NINJA method with NINJA video/book/notes/MCQ

    Education: Check
    Experience: 3 months left! I hit 4 years on May 30 🙂

DoOver – The material for sales variances are discussed in B2, around page 40 in the review notes. There is a nice breakdown of the sales variance components and derivative ratios.

Because of real life “stuff” with my wife's family, I didn't get to study nearly as much this weekend as I was hoping. But I did get through variances and I feel MUCH better about them now. There are a ton of them but they all make sense when you think through them.

@JS867_5309: I wouldn't spend too much time with BEC. FAR is a beast and at this point you need to focus on passing FAR and not worrying about BEC too much. Since scores are a month away, I wouldn't confuse myself by looking at BEC. FAR will take all of your spare time. If the worst happens and you don't pass BEC, I would finish getting through FAR first. You need to pass it at some point so now should be that time. Once you're done with FAR, circle back to BEC and you'll be shocked at how quickly it all comes back to you. FAR has a ton of material. BEC might have varied topics but the quantity of material is nothing compared to FAR.

Good Luck to all taking the exam this week! I know there is a couple out there. We Can Pass BEC!! Doing random MCQs today and fixing to start doing questions on some of my weak areas. I am so beyond ready to have my second PASS. It would be a great motivator right now. I had a breakdown last night…I do not want to fail again. Not sure I would handle it, but I am trying to stay positive.

    FAR - 46, 79 (7/8/14)
    AUD - 56, 59, 2/23/15 3rd times a charm!
    BEC - 69, 74 Really??
REG - April, I hope. Fingers crossed!
