i am studying for BEC for a Jan 18 2016 exam date. after AUD, which has a definite beginning, middle and end, i am finding it hard to focus and get really rolling on it. now that my exam is scheduled this should change.

Back to BEC. Just started Roger after a failed attempt with Becker. Lets pray I don't get another 70+. Got a new job (outside public accounting) and I feel a lot more confident about my time and time management. Goodluck everyone!

ch 1 read, mcq's done, first pass, new questions till all seen, missed questions until all correct
ch 2 economic measures read, working mcq's now in new question sessions. start to capture formulas in notes. rinse and repeat.
goal for evening – repeat all ch 2 econ measure mcq's until 100%. do full review of all ch 1 and ch 2 mcq's until all 100%

read globalization and start mcq's.

BEC exam in Jan 2016
Going to read through Wiley to review the material.
I've noticed that many said coso was under emphasized by most review materials. Good to know all of yall are there studying as well 🙂

I'm back for BEC for Q1, 3rd time has to be a charm or I lose FAR.

My plan is to mcq this thing to death. If anyone has tips on how to reel all this info in it will be greatly appreciated. I can't find the test structure on aicpa site again. How many mcq's? How many WC's? I did find something on aicpa that said there is one sim? Is that right? The same page out there contradicted that statement so i want to be sure. Thanks!

i have a laptop with windows7 and use firefox – when attempting a WC in ninja mcq sims my response would be wiped out if i toggled to another window to research the answer.

if you are not having this problem – what browser are you using?

today i am off to staples to buy a package of post-it easel paper and markers so i can write formulas and draw graphs and put them up on my wall – this way i will have to write them out (i normally hate taking notes) and i will have them plastered at a glance where i can quickly refer to them. if this works for BEC i will do it again for REG

Working on the MCQ in B1 for cost accounting and am having flashbacks to when I was studying for FAR. This sucks.

Ok the A71 post with the formulas- while helpful- has me a bit scared.

test.taker there do seem to be a lot but most of them are easy repeats from FAR and the rest will become rote as the mcq's are done during review. if i don't see them larger than life on my wall i won't learn them. but hey, that's just me.

Failed BEC with a 72. Found out last night. Terrible time management on the last exam. Only got 1 of the 3 written questions finished. January retake here we come…

Any tips on how to approach BEC? I'm not sure what needs to be done in regards to my study pattern. I plan to retest 2nd week on Jan 16. Used Becker and did MCQs after each video section. Any tips will be helpful
