    Good luck guys

    Mine is tomorrow,

    So today I will only work on my writing skills, and review COSO…cause it seems like they been testing a lot of that in the past based on what people say on here

    @Missbots, they tested me a lot in COSO back in February and ERM applied to cloud systems…My Becker book has less than half page about cloud systems so I printed a paper approved by the AICPA about ERM and Cloud Computing. Good luck to you tomorrow. Let us know how your exam goes!!!

    I'm struggling with financial management I hope they don't test too much on that this time around. I honestly can't remember what was tested in February.

    Can somebody explain this question for me? I am having a difficult grasping the concept behind it

    Brewster Co. has the following financial information:

    Fixed costs $20,000

    Variable costs 60%

    Sales price $50

    What amount of sales is required for Brewster to achieve a 15% return on sales?

    A.

    $33,333

    B.

    $50,000

    C.

    $80,000

    D.

    $133,333

    @golfball,

    So variable costs are 60% of the selling price. Variable costs + fixed costs + the 15% desired return on sales all equals the total amount of sales that are needed to get that 15% return on sales.

    If you are to set it up in an equation;

    50X (total sales) = 30X (Variable costs per sale of unit) + 20000 (fixed costs) + .15(50X) (15% return on sales)

    Solve for X to get the total units… this is 1600.

    50*1600 units = $80000 in sales to get that 15% return on sales.

    Hope that helps!

    FAR - 61, retake 1/22

    REG - 2022

    BEC - 2022
