The 3rd sure is coming up quickly…

Getting pretty antsy over here. Working on WTB questions in chunks of 20, averaging around 70%. From my past experience that should be good enough for a pass, but every exam is its own animal so who really knows.

What a joy it will be to be done!

Good morning everyone — hope ya'll had a productive weekend. I received my NTS back but have not scheduled my test. I really wanted to take it before the 20th but am not feeling like I will be ready in just a few weeks. After this week I will not have weekend obligations for a while so I am thinking about pushing it back. I guess I can always schedule it then reschedule if I do not feel good. I want the chance to go through all the ninja MCQ ( I am about half way) and through Becker questions as well and it just seems like I will be pushing to get this done in the next few weeks.

Well I guess I was not meant to take it the weekend of the 18-19 because no appointments available at the prometric I go to. I have scheduled for November 7th but may move it up a little if later on I feel like I am ready before that. I want to be prepared for this and did not like the pressure I was putting on myself to feel ready before the 18th of October.

LOL, ive been enjoying my time not studying-started studying last week and im only half way thru the second chapter, im only doing BEC this quarter because with school and everything, i know AUD was not possible, so id rather put more time into it and take it january. BEC is pretty hard tho, deff not going to underestimate it cuz i only want to take it once. gonna go check out your questions, see if i can remember anything from FAR -__-

jstay – this is my second attempt at BEC. I have spent the last few weeks reading my becker material over my weaker areas and working Ninja MCQ. I am about half way through the Ninja MCQ and with Becker I am planning on starting to rework the homework over (I have finished it once or twice before) but need to do it again. So my strategy is a little scattered between the two programs but plan on mostly focusing on MCQ's from both until I take the exam and writing out the ones I get wrong, rinse and repeat. How are you in your studies?

lauren725- not so well =/

i passed FAR on 8/31. i chose to wait until i received my score to start studying again. Received an 80 so i figured ok ill take another week off to just have no thoughts about the CPA exam and enjoy the week off. After that week, i started B1. got through it (didnt do the WC) then this weekend i started B2. my thing is that its taking me sooo long to get through the homework. im only halfway through hw for B2 but feel like im getting no where. this is the only test im taking this quarter. AUD would be too much while going to school full time (graduate undergrad in December!). i just hope i do enough before early November to get a 75.

BEC this Friday!!! 2nd try. I have been brushing up a bit on certain areas. Not studying like crazy like the first time but rather tweaking various areas. I hope I didn't forget everything from a month ago. Also feeling less stressed this time going in, just want to end and move back to FAR. I hope this time around I get more questions I am comfortable with, and not many long calculations.

NJ – yes! The ONLY reason why I didn't schedule it for the 1st is because my husband will be out of town that weekend which means a quiet house for a last weekend of studying if I need it. I also thought about Halloween day but was like ehhhhhhhh not sure if that is smart. HA. I will reevaluate in a few weeks and see how I feel about moving it up if for some reason I am feeling good.

Thank you, I had a great getaway this weekend. I studied on the plane but other than that just relaxed, ate good food and enjoyed life! That will be my last “vacation” for a while so it's time to get down and dirty with BEC.

jstay – chapter 2 is the hardest material for me. That homework takes for-ev-errrr. Another reason why I wanted to push my test back because I need to take my time getting through those questions again and don't want to rush myself.
