No clue Gabe. I can't even read that question without getting confused. Oh the beauty of some of these BEC questions from Mars….

    AUD - 73,91
    FAR - 79 - Thank you God!
    BEC - 73,79!!!!
    REG - 92 whatttt??!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

    Done! Praise God!

To answer the actual question though if the British pound depreciates with respect to the dollar it is not worth as much as it was 1 year ago. 721 is not enough to buy the computers. They now cost 36 more. The 3% price increase brings the cost to 721. With 5% depreciation it brings the cost to 757. Think about it from Kuwaits point of view.

Could someone explain CAPM to me like I'm 5?

    REG: ***92*** (5/14/14)
    FAR: ***83*** (8/17/14)
    BEC: ***89*** (10/3/14)

Sorry … I took BEC too long ago to intelligently answer this. I do remember that I looked online (google) and found a really easy formula to use for it. Best of luck!

If you have Becker their definition is pretty easy to understand.

I looked outside of my Becker materials and was able to find a wording that made sense to me. Hopefully it's not too oversimplified.

CAPM = Risk Free Rate + Beta*(Market Rate – Risk Free Rate)

    Is that a correct understanding?

    REG: ***92*** (5/14/14)
    FAR: ***83*** (8/17/14)
    BEC: ***89*** (10/3/14)
    AUD: ***86*** (2/22/15)

    Yep!

Also…The CAPM says that the expected return of a security or a portfolio equals the rate on a risk-free security plus a risk premium. If this expected return does not meet or beat the required return, then the investment should not be undertaken. The security market line plots the results of the CAPM for all different risks (betas).

@ schizokitten – that specific calculation is the one that I found and used for the exam, and everything went great! Memorize that formula and you will be fine.

Basically it measure a stocks risk in relation to other stocks. The riskier it is, the higher the return, the more conservative, the lower the return.
