You passed with an 80 in FAR, you will be just fine. There's not even a lot of material and once you hammer the MCQs out, it will start to stick. I'll be starting BEC tomorrow.

How did FAR go this time round?

It went pretty well but I didn't hsvehave enough time for one simulation so I just made a random JE with less than a minute to go LOL. I took AUD today and got either 100% or close to it on five sims, but the other two were pretty tough. Doubt they drop one of those two since I had two research problems. I know on the first testlet I didn't miss more than a couple, but after that the testlets got pretty tough. I must have done good enough on the second one though as the problems didn't get easier. Were you comparable on both MCQs and simulations?

I really cant tell you, i never looked at my score report. wow 3 parts in 1 quarter is crazy! how was the study prep for AUD? better then FAR? im thinking of taking AUD on the last day of the quarter if theres a spot open depending on how BEC goes and how much of it i can cram.

Actually studying for REG as well LOL. But I was studying audit along with FAR so not like I only had two weeks for it. Audit could be done in three weeks though. If you took audit recently, you should pass no doubt.

took it this past spring…but my teacher was terrible..would read straight off powerpoints, etc. never really taught it so thatd why i might push it back until early january

Well, the test centers usually open until the first week of December so you could just take it then. If not, I'd just take it in January since you already passed FAR and will probably have BEC done by then as well.

@cpahopeful11 testing centers this year will not be extended till December according or nasba website (unlike last year).

Went through the Econ section yesterday and took a progress test where I got only a 73%. Pretty disappointed in that but it was my first day starting. There are SO many things to remember from that section. Not looking forward to the IT or cost accounting sections though.

By the way, could we use the AL feature for the written part? I took this test on April of 2013 and didn't use it since I really didn't know how it worked at the time.

cpahopeful, not sure..they dont give it on becker sims so im assuming no. but it doesnt really matter if your “correct”, you just need to be able to know the format of everything and the right way to respond.

everyone says dont go to crazy over the WC, just to get a format in your head about the response

Of course, I passed last time being comparable in the MCQ, and weaker on WC due to getting a question from FAR that I had NO idea about. I was using the wrong term for the name it was that bad LOL. I do recall seeing the AL section but don't know if it is the same as it is for the other sections.

about 12pm on the east coast, ive already done 107 questions on operations managment: cost measurement methods & technique. got 68%. first time around i got 77% but that was with “cheating”–using the print button to see answer before i select. this time around i felt like i actually learned it. idk cost accounting is such a b!#%h
