    I need help. Test will be in 4 days but I am still trending around 66%. I feel hopeless. Is there still a chance? Any suggestions? I am weak in Financial Management and Strategic Planning areas.

    1. BEC is the easiest of the exams.
    2. Have you compared past practice performance to your exam scores? I failed nearly every one of the practice exams
    3. Take a few minutes to review the key topics to the exam, as I recall Cost accounting is most important, and IT was neigh pointless

    Unfortunately, it's a luck of draw situation. You could get slammed with a lot of questions from IT or you could nailed with a ton of formula based questions.

    Personally though, I would focus a bunch of time on chapters 1-3. Absolutely memorize the chapter 1 pneumonics. I would also devote time to memorizing formulas, despite what some may say.

    Less important, but still important: I would memorize the computer/IT pneumonics. Then lastly, all other pneumonics. Even if you don't directly get a question from that chapter, knowing that item will help you eliminate wrong answers sometimes.

    B=84 This exam was such a b**** that I thought I failed-don't know how these things work
    A=76 Slacker I am, I'll happily take it
    R=81 I LOVE taxes
    F=80 I don't wanna get banned for an expletive I'm thinking with "yea" proceeding it

    How many MCQs have you worked already?

    I did about 1567 NINJA MCQs alone and 1600+ for Becker. I was fully aware (as Jeff points out) we need to average or trend at least 80%, 85%, or something for a better chance of passing. I was trending at 69.33% but there's no way I could improve my performance since I was testing on the last day of the extended window. I wish there was an extension of the extended testing period, haha. I ended up getting a 70 (actual score).

    There is still a chance. Practice the weaker areas, but keep doing sets of “trouble” or “missed last time seen” or just “all” randomly so you don't forget other areas.

    Have you created a cheat sheet? I make one that I read every day for a few days before my exam and these are things I know I am struggling and don't want to forget. Make it short and read it before your exam!

    Thank you everybody for your input. I tried so hard to hit more mcqs as I can until my test day. This will be my third try and my last chance to pass or else I will lose my Aud credit. I am still 69% trending and 683 questions not yet seen. I am losing hope here.

    How comfortable are you with Marginal Analysis? I am so lost with this topic considering I've taken BEC 4x already. I decided I am going to need to review the lectures this time. I hate those shuffled MCQs saying this Product A, B, and C were processed further and resulted to Product X and Y, then this X and Y produced ZZ ek-ek.

    ILCPA2014,

    If rescheduling isn't an option, I would prioritize calculation problems, which presumably are worth (much) more. And there aren't that many. And they tend to naturally reinforce non-calculation concepts, so if you can master them, you'll be in strong position imo.
