this is my last exam…and I am so not in the mood for this one….BEC is boring and totally unrelated to my tax accounting career…………………..Please help. How should I study? My exam is scheduled for May 12th and I am not even close….Totally squeezed from tax season, kids and family obligations!

I can give you the topics I think are most important if that will help. Net present value, breakeven, stockout, financial ratios, cost accounting, variances, units of production,IT and internal controls/COSO. This is not a ton of material and I think if you focus on these areas you can pass. Good luck

Try this…all of the 3 tests that you have passed will mean absolutely nothing if you dont pass BEC. You need this final pass in order for all of your efforts in the past regarding this test to actually have any significant meaning. No one will care if you passed 3 out of 4 sections. Your status currently is equal to someone who has passed 1 exam because both situations mean nothing without passing every section. You have less than a month until the exam. Try and counting down the days with a countdown clock (thats what i do and it actually helps a lot for some reason).

If you dont pass, think about all the extra time of studying you will have to do AGAIN (at least another month and a half since no testing in june and may will be gone). That will be more time away from the family.

Sorry if I sound harsh I am just trying to help. The end is near. Just suck it up because it is better to have no regrets.
