Hi does anyone who uses Wiley online test bank for BEC know if the written communication simulations have answers to them? I’m not sure if it’s my computer problem or what, but I can only see the sample question. I can answer it; when I hit done, it tells you to grade your own writing with a scale of 0 – 5 based on a little rubric. Then that’s it. Is that the same for everyone? No sample answer?!

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I know right? How do we learn from grading our own writing? Anyone else have the same problem?

There is not system-generated grading because there is no algorithm we know of that can accomplish that. The most that could be done algorithmically is a spell/grammar check (which alone would not mimic the.actual grading criteria of “writing that is clear, complete, and professional”). Since we don't have an accurate way to computer-grade the WC Simulations in the Test Bank we provide next best thing — the chance for students to practice responding to a question in writing and the criteria used to grade the writing. In the future we will add computer grading functionality if it becomes practical to do so.

@CPA88888 besides WC grading are there any other Test Bank issues causing disappointment?

WileyCPAExamReview – you put the anwsers to the WC in your book, why not in the online format? I think it would be better to allow the students to grade themselves, then Wiley provide a sampler anwser that was correct as you do in your books. Seems pretty logical
