hi all , Im using the 2012 book and related software for regulation and Im planing to attend the exam after 2 months form now … is it ok to continue study from this material or i need to purchase a new one due to the updates or any other matters… Please help

You don't need to purchase new material because updates are posted on there website for Regulations. I also passed REG with 2012 material, the updates weren't important to me. The only important thing is that the threshold for medical expenses is now 10% of AGI.I suggest you to skim over the updates though.
