    Hey Guys!

First time post and have a couple of questions regarding my studying.

Received a free copy of Becker 2014 all 4 sections from my job. (also received the homework books

I plan on taking FAR first and after watching the first few sections I was wondering when I should be doing the homework or review questions? Do I review FAR 1.1 for example and then do all the questions in the homework book?

I’m just a little confused on where to start.

Thanks for helping me on my journey to becoming a CPA

I find it best to watch a lecture and then do those questions right after before moving on to the next lecture.

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.

The homework book has literally has 50 pages of questions per section. I should do them all?

what are you looking at? You don't have the software itself?

But yeah, I generally do them all twice, once as I go through the material and then again during my review.

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Interesting – Never heard of becker doing that.

yeah, I would do the lecture and then questions. If it really is 50 pages per topic maybe do most of them?

    F - 77 Answered prayers.

There are only one question per page by the way

My Becker materials don't have that either. But only 50 questions per section? That's nothing. Are those the only questions you have? If so you should supplement with another test bank (like Wiley or Ninja MCQ).

It varies by section. I am studying BEC as we speak (which has far less content than FAR) and the amount of questions in the chapter I am reviewing is over 200. Sorry, I don't want to exit out of my questions right now to get you an exact count. Regardless, you should have at least, at least 150 questions for any chapter in FAR. This doesn't include any SIMS. Do you have SIMS?

Im not a fan of this paper method. How will you know your score? and what are you going to separate pages by the ones you got wrong to re-do them?

I think ninja mcq's will help you

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

I am with @Determined. You need something electronic. I am getting Ninja MCQ this weekend for BEC 🙂 Want to supplement my Becker for this section.

Also the real exam is computerized. You need to do questions on a computer to familiarize yourself with the format.

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Yeah I know. I'm planning on getting either Ninja or Wiley as a supplemental to my Becker hard materials.

Also I haven't actually picked a date yet to sit for FAR. but how long do you think on average is needed before I should pick a date?

Just some personal info – I have a full time job and don't get home till around 7 at night.

    Thanks for your help
