Becker Ancillary Material?

    Hi everyone,

I’ve been asking so many questions lately, sorry! Thanks for all the help, though. I just got the Becker Review course and all I’ve done so far is watch the course tutorial and try to skim through the books just to familiarize myself with all of it. I have a couple questions.

Firstly, I got the self-study course and it looks so incredibly overwhelming. Not so much all the material it covers (although I’m sure that’s overwhelming too), but just the software itself! My question is, is the stuff pretty self explanatory? Will I figure it out as I go along?

Also, I hear a lot about the testing of ‘ancillary material.’ Where is this located? I skimmed the BEC book and didn’t see anything labeled as such. Where should I look?

    Thanks again!

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

Anything in the book that Tim or Peter do not specifically tell you about is something you should review on your own. Becker does identify some material as ancillary, but for the most part, it is no different then a paragraph that the instructors skipped over.

REG has no true ancillary sections, but AUD had a couple of sections boxed off for self study and were referred to as ancillary….

Best piece of advice….know everything in the book!

    R - 88
