I really do not like the lectures for the Becker Auditing section. I have decided it is more effective to read the textbook and do the homework MCQ without listening to the lectures. Anyone else do this and pass?

I only had access to the text so I didn't use the videos. For each section, I read Becker, skimmed thru Wiley, and did all the Wiley text problems. During my review I did all the Wiley test bank problems. I studied solidly for two weeks (approximately 10-12 hours/day) and passed.

My 2 cents says watch the lectures…they do a nice job explaining stuff and emphasizing important material. I have yet to take mine, but going back and reading the chapter over after the lectures is much much better with the notes and highlighting…I do think the audit lectures add value…

    Whatever you decide, good luck!

I fast forwarded the lectures and took down the notes they wanted us to take down…but I had no time to hear the lectures. If you are pressed for time, I would focus on reading/reviewing the book and doing as many multiple choice questions….but I haven't taken it yet so that's just a thought.
