Becker Question –

Hi everyone,

Just curious on everyone’s opinion. My BEC exam is on Monday and I have really been crunched for time with this exam. Do you think I should complete this chapter or go straight into a review?

I'm not a Becker user so I don't know what that chapter is. If it is IT, COSO, or Cost then I would definitely advise against skipping it.

Thanks for the advice! For those that do not use Becker, chapter 6 is basically a bunch of random topics including operations management, globalization and local economies, financial risk management, financial decisions, financial valuation, and internal auditing standards. I figured it might be worth my time to go back through COSO, IT, economics and cost accounting since it seems like these topics are the majority of the exam. I would appreciate any other feedback though.

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

I would skip the videos, but at the very least read the chapter.

I wouldn't skip it at all. The fact that I knew that chapter pretty well is part of the reason I passed.

I wouldn't totally SKIP anything. Even if you just scan it, I would at least do that. Never know if you get a question or two you on things that you scanned and can remember….
