Becker Ch 2, Topic 2, Qs 99-100

    Can anyone help me understand Becker Ch 2, Topic 2, Questions 99 and 100. They relate to variances.

    I am so confused because the fact pattern between these two questions is the same, however, in one question they say actual quantity is $10,000, while in the other question they say actual quantity is $12,000. So confusing!!

    Materials (Use) efficiency

    How many items did you actually USE or CONSUME vs. the standard amount?

    BEC - 08/28/14 - 95
    REG - 10/11/14 - 96
    AUD - 11/30/14 - 99
