Becker Expired and I want to switch to NINJA – What should be purchased?

Long story short, an unforeseen obstacle led me to burn off 6-7 months of my 18 month timeline for using Becker materials. I passed FAR on the 1st attempt, then moved to Audit to fail twice. First time with a 69…. the second time with the always wonderful 74. I feel quite confident that i will bust my butt studyin enough to finally get over the hump.

My question to all of you guys is this…. Due to me having the Becker Book and Flash cards already with all my notes inside it… what should I purchase for the Audit Section from Ninja? Just the MCQ and combine them all and i should be good? I see there’s MCQ/Notes/Audio/Book/Video available… just didn’t know what all listed is a MUST etc etc.

Obviously once I finally get past Audit I shall be going all out for NINJA for the remaining two exams 🙂

    Thanks!!!

I think the Ninja MCQ is a must.

The Ninja Notes and Audio are helpful also if you don't mind spending the extra money.

I agree with what Sang has said. I have Becker but I have still purchase NINJA notes, audio, and MCQ. If you are looking to save money, I suggest definitely getting MCQ. If the Notes or Audio are in your budget, I definitely recommend getting at least one of them. The audio is basically Jeff reading the Notes to you. I love to listen to audio on my daily commute and when I am doing other things like eating lunch, cleaning, or have down time at work to squeeze in some more study time.

you have way more under your belt than i did when i started audit but ninja book and mcq align perfectly to each. i used those and the actual standards when needed and to prepare for sims. it was all i needed.
i have used ninja book and mcq's for all with free youtube videos – i did put in a lot of time for each.
    good luck.
have you checked to see if becker has an extension available?

yes, i called and asked them about the extension thing and they said had I already been scheduled for the next test already they would extend it but since I'm only at the stage of paying the 20 bucks and waiting to pay NASBA fees they can't.

I appreciate all the replies guys, I completely agree with the audio while driving to work/cleaning up the house so I think i'll go with all 3! i just want this Audit behind me haha.

btw, good luck Monikernc!!! awesome job so far~!

I think that for me Aud will be the hardest part. I didn't do so great with it in college. I wish you luck!

Monikernc – So NINJA Book and MCQ are all you used? If so, could you please share what your study routine entailed? Looks like you've done really well based on your scores. Thanks in advance!
