    Hi,
Can someone give me a suggestion about what are the must do topics in F10?

In my opinion, it is worth going through all of the topics if you have the time. If time is not on your side, make sure you go over the review of IFRS v GAAP. Then you can probably survive by just skimming through partnerships, ARO, and contingencies/subsequent events.

If you have run out of time, I would suggest just focusing on IFRS stuff in F10. I ran out of time and that is the only thing that was recommended to me to study. Everything else I just prayed it was so minuscule that I wouldn't need or could make an educated guess.

    B- Pass
    A- Pass
    R- Pass
    F- Pass

    B 10/29/16
    A 10/1/16
    R 9/2/16
    F 7/26/16

It is somewhat pointless to ask this question because people will base it on their own exam experience. From what I recall, I was very glad I committed just as much time to this chapter as the others as some of the smaller, less important items did appear on my exam. Anytime you skip chapters you take a big risk.

If you are pressed for time, study this chapter lasts so the smaller items stick in your head.

I wouldn't completely disregard F10, as it is still testable and I can remember a few questions from the topics covered in F10 on my FAR exam that I took in July. Ultimately though, if you're pressed for time, you should definitely take a cost benefit approach to your remaining study time and focus on the more heavily tested areas.

I agree with Nessie. Each exam is different. I understand that some people can get short on time to cover all the material or too many small subjects that don't have a lot of questions on the software, so people think it is not that important for the exam, but in the same time avoiding subjects is a high risk of losing points. I don't know what is in F10 but think if you get 3-4 questions on the exam from that chapter, are you willing to give those away?

    AUD - 93
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 84
    REG - 83

    FAR 8/2016
    AUD 1/2017
    REG TBD
    BEC TBD

I had an entire sim based on one of those small sections that only had a few pages in the Becker book.

As someone else said it all depends on what you get on your particular exam, but everything presented in the Becker review course is fair game. Odds of seeing some of the tiny sections on the exam is fairly low, but definitely not zero. So study all of it if you have the time.
