Becker F10 — Is all of it necessary?

    Becker Question –

    I have been told that many people skip most of F10 because most of it is never tested. Is this true? If so, are there any specific sections within F10 that are most important?

    this is asked quite often, i wouldnt skit it, i didnt but i knew someone who did and she passed with a 76. you never really know what questions will be thrown at you. i deff wouldnt skip partnerships, fair value, subsequent events. idk what else was in F10

    I almost didn't but looked at it right before the test. Didn't do a full on review of it, just read/simmed. Happy I did.

    It's all fair game… I definitely had quite a few questions from f10 on my exam. I passed with a 79 – if I had blown off this section completely I would have failed. That being said it is tested slightly less than other sections so if you are constrained on time I'd focus your efforts elsewhere, but you will be garaunteed to see several questions from here. Make sure you look over the partnership questions for sure.

    FAR - 11/30/14 -79
    AUD - 2/19/15 -86
    BEC - 4/09/15 -86
    REG - 11/30/15 -87

    At least look at the partnership and troubled debt restructuring.

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

    Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!

    Partnerships, Contingencies and Subsequent Events for sure (yes it's an Audit concept but it can appear on FAR as well).

    I don't think you need to spend a huge amount of time on F10 but you should treat the chapter like any other and do the lecture and make sure you go through the MCQ and Sims at least once.

    Every test is different. Some people get no questions on it. Some get more. You can't judge how your test will be bases on other's tests. I personally wouldn't skip anything, but focus more on the areas that are heavily questioned in my test bank.

    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!
