Hey guys,

I have 1 section left, and it’s the one I knew I was going to struggle with. I want to know if you guys think I should go with Becker’s Final Review or Ninja for the last couple weeks of studying for Audit. Obviously I know this forum may be a little biased =p

Here’s a little about me: I learn by DOING > seeing > hearing >>>> reading. That’s why audit is difficult for me, because there’s no formulas to work or hard facts, it’s all just conceptual and ‘memorize this’ and ‘memorize that.’ Not what I’m good at. I’m considering both because I need fresh lectures to watch or listen to instead of just watching all of the Becker lectures over again. Also Becker is a little bit cheaper (never thought I’d say that!). Keep in mind, I don’t need to be taught everything all over again, I just need the important things to be reinforced.

I am in the same boat as you. There is no way I will allow myself to not pass AUD. I may splurge on Final Review for Becker.

Slightly off topic here, but are all the reports and engagement letters in the simulation research tab for AUD? If so, I just don't see the point of remembering the reports word for word, other than to save time (but I think it's more helpful to just remember common phrases).

I failed AUD twice and then bought Becker final review. I will say — the final review does have a few new MCQ and sims but 90% of the content is just a summarized form of the regular Becker audit material.

I just failed REG for the second time with Becker while using regular Becker and FR. I am switching to Ninja. Just sayin, so you can make the best possible decision.

I have used Kaplan, Wiley, and Ninja testbanks and I think you'll find Ninja as a good review. AUD is all about drilling the questions like a crazy person because the biggest thing that will trip up anyone on AUD is RTMFQ and RATMFA! You need to drill questions and get in the habit of making sure you read the question AND all of the answers. The word play in AUD with the double negatives and other things they throw at you gets to be confusing so just practice over and over. Also, the Ninja MCQ have really good information links to help explain key topics or give you definitions, etc. It also has a pretty good AL for you to practice searching for SIMS. I would only remember key differences between the reports, not word for word paragraphs.

Also–I highly recommend the Ninja Audio. It helped me tremendously and I raised my AUD score 20 points.

I will second Mama- I failed AUD once using Becker…retook it and used strictly Ninja- raised my score 17 points.

Also, just used strictly Ninja for my first round of BEC and passed.

In other words…Ninja all the way!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

Done! Praise God!

@lauren I had it, because I paid for it already but I didn't use it. Well, I printed out the chapter reviews, but didn't look at them.

Do both if you have time. It will only take 1 full day (a sat, maybe?) to do the becker final review and I swear by the ninja mcq's!

I only used the Ninja 10 point combo for AUD and passed on my first attempt. I had a few questions word for word on my exam that were in the Ninja MCQ. Highly recommend Ninja!
