I finished studying information technology using Becker, was just wondering if anyone could tell me if they felt the material was adequate for the exam?

    FAR:83 (first attempt)
    REG:86 (first attempt)
    AUD:93 (first attempt)
    BEC:82 (first attempt)

IMO, they covered just bare minimum and emphasized wrong stuff and skipped (self-review) on the important details, but what do I know – i have not taken this exam yet, lol! I just dunno what to think, looks like not enough to me. Maybe that's all we need to know to pass.

I feel that Becker covers the majority of what you need to know for IT. As mentioned, they may “skimp” on some stuff and tell you to self-study it, do it and do NOT blow it off!

It's a trend on this site that people say their exam had more IT questions than expected. I supplemented Becker for only IT (using freecpareview.com) questions and felt like I had adequate preparation. Good luck!

I have Becker too and I took detailed notes to compensate and skimmed over the self-review portion, making notes on stuff that wasn't purely common sense to me and I would probably forget. Try to compensate for lack of study material by answering as many MCQs as you can and taking notes on them (for ones you get wrong or right) and I am sure that should help.

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂
