Took the final and scored a 57% on the Mcq. I have been scoring 80s on all Becker progress test and I don’t know what happened. The Becker final seemed to focus on law more then I thought. I am stressed out now, my test is next Friday April 4th. What do I do??

I think you can reschedule tonight for $35. After that it is $66 up to 24 hours. I would give yourself another 2 weeks for REG and you will still have 6 weeks for BEC.

REG is our last monster. Personally my only goal is to kill REG in this window. If BEC gets pushed to the next window so be it.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

    Hey Derrick:

Good luck on your exam…I'm also taking Reg on 4/4 and it looks like we're planning on BEC at the same time as well. I just took Becker Final #1 this evening also. I feel like I really don't know the stuff like I should but I'm scoring well. I'm really worried that I'm just guessing well but I seem to be doing that consistently so hopefully my luck holds out.

Based on my experience with FAR, you can add about 15 points to your Becker final to approximate your actual score so with your 57, I'd really think about rescheduling…maybe to Monday at least depending on how much time you can devote by Friday. I found the Becker outlines really helpful for the Business Law chapters. That shouldn't put you behind in your BEC studies.

    FAR - 93 (YAY!!!!)
    REG - 93 (Double YAY!)
    BEC - 87 (Whew!)
    AUD - 96 (DONE!!!!!)

I really don't want to push the test back, I feel like I understand the concepts well but make silly mistakes during the review test. I find myself rushing to finish the test instead of focusing on each question. I have 4 days to review and I going to cover law tomorrow, next day ch 1,2 and then ch 3,4. The day before the test I will review all the becker outlines for a light review and then its test day. Hopefully it all works out.

As I'm sure you know, you can expect a 10-15 point bump from Becker practice to the real exam, so it's not the end of the world. That being said, I was consistently scoring 95+% on my REG progress tests and got roughly 75% on both practice exams, so your scores seem reasonable. You need to tighten up a few areas.

    REG 2/26/14 - 90
    BEC 4/08/14 - 92
    FAR 5/31/14 - 90
    AUD 7/09/14 -

I keep taking 100 question progress test and scoring in the 80's. So i hoping the becker final was just a bad day, as I feel like I know the info just as well as I did for the first two test.
