Becker Simulation Technical Problems!

    Hey everyone,

    Just got to the last question of F2 and I’m finally done with the section. Woo. I’m glad to have such a daunting chapter out of the way!

    I’m unfortunately running into a few technical issues with the Becker sims, which I’ve heard approximate the real sims pretty well, so I really don’t want to screw something up during the actual exam.

    1) Is there any way to de-select and erase an account title once you’ve already selected one? For example, I had a question on the sims about goodwill impairment, and I put down a typical entry (dr. impairment loss, cr. goodwill) until I realized that no entry was required. I changed “impairment loss” to “no entry required” but could not get rid of the second account title for the life of me. I had to settle for what I did here: https://imgur.com/guj7qmj

    2) Did I do something funky to mess up my ASC stuff? The last research question in F2 asks about foreign currency items. I went to 830 – foreign currency matters in the database, but then got a white page and couldn’t explore the topics or subtopics at all. I e-mailed Becker support about this one but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. You can see what I’m talking about here: https://imgur.com/etghWI9

    I just finished F2 and I called Becker. I experienced the same problem you did for the last simulations. They have written an email and is being escalated. The person I spoke to informed me that it is happening to him too so it's not our fault. Whenever it is fixed, he will contact me. I will let you know if he does contact me… but until then it's blank!
