I’ve been hammering through MCQ’s using Becker for about 2 hours and out of nowhere I receive an error message that says:

Access Violation at address 0086352F in Module ‘BPSelfStudy.exe’ Read of address 0000000000

I tried a fresh restart and re-opening and this same error pops up continuously – the only way to make it go away is to go into the Task Manager and End Task.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have access to the software through the end of 2014 so this should not be the issue. I tried to log-in to the my online account to continue studying (https://online.becker.com/) and noticed that their site is down for maintenance. This shouldn’t have an effect on the software I downloaded to my computer though right?

the site says you should be able to use your desktop (downloaded) versions, but that is obviously not the case. I only have 7 minutes left on my A4 lecture and “poof” gone.

Mine is down, too. Both the online site and the offline software are down (b/c it syncs to their server).

I just called Becker tech support and they told me their server is down and they would email me when it's back up. Haven't they heard of redundancy? I can't believe they wouldn't have redundant/backup servers to provide continuous access if one of their servers go down.

Going old school and reading the book in the meantime. As if AUD wasn't boring enough!
