Any of you might know how is becker’s final exam compare to the real exam? It’s my first test and so people told me that they felt the Becker final exam is a little bit harder? What is your experience?

I felt worse after taking the actual exam, but my scores have been significantly higher on the actual exams than on the Becker final exams. People usually say to add about 10 points to your Becker final exam score, and I have found this to be relatively accurate.

Yes, I wasn't quite sure how to answer this one, but I think you did it well, elko777. It didn't seem that Becker was necessarily harder than the real exam while taking it and, as a matter of fact, I usually feel like the SIMS can be more challenging in the real test than Becker is. But I have also consistently scored at least 10 points better on the real exam than I did on the practice exams. Maybe part of it is because of the real exam having the weighted questions. At any rate, I think the real exam still “feels” worse after taking it, partially because you have NO idea how you did. Good luck!

I'm starting Becker Audit reveiw December 1st, and signed up today. Is it worth the money? How long did everyone study for the exam? I'm thinking eight to nine weeks.

Well lets hope tomorrow goes better than my 2 Becker exams….I got in the low 70s and mid 60s. Yikes. Progress tests I get in the mid/upper 80s.

Hi everyone,

I just finished taking the Becker BEC Final Exams and my scores were horrible. I am really upset because I felt I put so much time and effort into studying… I guess I am studying the wrong way.. I really don't know.

Here are my scores

Final 1 – 60% Average

Final 2 – 56% Average

I am taking my exam this Wednesday. Is there any hope that I will pass? Any tips on what I should do until then?

Look over the exams and understand exactly why you got those particular questions incorrect. If you are going to focus on anything I would focus on NPV, IRR, all of the formulas, Labor/Matl variances, CVP analysis, and the COSO framework. Get somewhat comfortable with IT any you should have a good shot at passing. Quality Study > Quantity
