    Hi Everyone,

I’m an international candidate hoping to take the exam in January 2016 (original goal was November 2015 but circumstances have changed).

My question is, which exams would you recommend that I take at the same time? I don’t want to study for all four simultaneously and can only afford to fly to the states twice for the exams.

Your suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated!

I would do FAR & AUD together. There's some overlap between the two. That would leave REG & BEC to pair together. While they aren't very similar, BEC has the least amount of material . Good luck!

Agreed. Pair FAR and AUD together. Then pair REG and BEC together.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the quick feedback. That was my original plan but I ‘m a bit worried because there is soooo much material for both and they are the longest (probably the hardest as well) exams.

I'll be honest, there was a part of me that was hoping you guys wouldn't say those two (lol!) but thanks again.

As an alternative you could pair FAR and BEC. Then pair REG and AUD.

Basically FAR and REG should not be paired. They are the two that take the longest to prepare for so you want to keep them separate.

As Angelwatch mentioned I would definitely not try to mix FAR and REG – the differences in tax and financial accounting differences would be too much when considering you are already learning accounting differences in FAR for financial, government, not-for-profit and international.

I would probably do the first mentioned FAR/AUD and BEC/REG but then again I couldn't imagine studying for 2 exams at once.

    Good luck with your journey!

Definitely FAR and AUD. AUD doesn't have that much material. I know they both are 4 hours, but AUD really isn't that bad. To be transparent though, I can't imagine pairing anything with FAR. The material is an absolute beast.

    BEC - 82
    REG - 86
    FAR - 85
    AUD - 84 and I'm out!!!!!
    Ethics - 95

    Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum. I recently registered for CPA exams. I was wondering which test material would be best to use for the CPA examinations.

Also, I would like to know what exam should I sit for at the first.

    Thank you in advance 🙂

Becker materials have the highest pass rate, but they are quite expensive. There are some others out there as well, it really just depends on your learning style.

    Aud: 99. (May)
    Bec: 89. (April)
    Far: 84. (Feb)
    Reg: 79. (July)
