I am currently using Becker (I purchased the bundle). It expires in December 2013 due to my procrastination. I just took my first test in May! I am planning on taking FAR next then AUD. I heard Becker is not the best for BEC…

What do you guys think is the best review for BEC? Besides Becker… I am thinking I will just purchase another review course for BEC…

I used Becker to study for BEC – and as I posted in another thread, I felt like the exam I took was not the exam I studied for. I still passed, but there were questions on topics that Becker didn't even cover. Although, I've heard others mention that is just the nature of BEC and that no one review course covers absolutely EVERYTHING tested.

Overall, I did not feel like the actual exam reflected what I studied for BEC as well as it did for AUD.

    Thanks for the info!

I have heard the same thing from a lot of people! Since my Becker is going to expire anyway… I just thought I would buy something else and not risk it with Becker.

    I just don't know which one I shoud buy…

I guess it depends on your study style. I panicked after I left the BEC exam and bought a Yeager BEC book anticipating a retake….I didn't like it though, because the print was really small and it was too wordy. But maybe that better suits your study style.

I have heard a lot of people say the Wiley Test Bank was huge for them in BEC. You might want to give that a shot. Study with the Becker book but supplement with Wiley Test Bank.

    Good luck!

Just ordered BEC review material from NIU CPA Review (Correspondence Option). I've been very happy with the previous 3 sections and don't expect anything less for this section.

Perhaps I'll report back sometime in August/September with my official opinion 🙂

    FAR 90 Oct. 6, 2012
    AUD 96 Dec. 8, 2012
    REG 93 May 30, 2013
    BEC 84 Aug. 31, 2013
