Hi guys – I am taking BEC in a few weeks (second time at it) and am looking for the best tips on memorizing the bountiful amount of equations/formulas (BEC chapters 1-3 for Becker users)? I know “practice makes perfect” but do any of you have any alternate methods you use to memorize formulas and equations? Thanks a ton in advance for responses!

Write them out every day. I put them on post it notes and keep them where I can see them. Also, make sure you understand what the formula calculates..

Notecards notecards notecards! And I didn't write them down everyday, but I can imagine that would help a bunch.

I figured it would have to do with repetition. As of now I write down the equations (listed by chapter and then by topic) as they are taught in the lectures so I have 3 sheets (front and back) of equations/formulas to memorize. Does anyone have any suggestions on studying for the writing portion? I didn't study for it at all last time and it did not go well..

I think for the writing portion the most important thing is to study the structure needed. If you search the forum, there are lots of good tips. As far as subjects, well, it can be just about anything. Good luck!!
