I am using Becker. I will have about 17-20 days of review, depending on how quickly I get through my last 3 chapters. I didnt expect to move through the material as fast as I did and i dont feel like paying a rescheduling fee.. Ive logged 90 hours so far moving into chapter 8 tomorrow.

Anyway whats the best way to study with a rather long time before the exam? I planned on pretty much doing each chapter MCQ & Sims 2-3x over, take the final exams and take a lot of progress tests. Should I bother re-watching lectures or re-reading the book/notes?

@DatFutureCPA, it really depends on what you think the most effective use of your time is. I didn't usually rewatch the Becker lectures, but I would reread my notes if I needed clarification on specific topics. Honestly, the best use of your time is just to work problems, problems, and more problems on the areas you struggle with the most.

“take the final exams and take a lot of progress tests.”

I think this is the best thing to do for review. Progress tests are just a grouping of chapter MCQs anyways, so I wouldn't worry about doing the individual chapter mcqs multiple times. Also, progress tests will emphasize chapters that are more likely to be tested anyways.

I wouldn't re-read or re-watch any of the chapters/lectures, but only go back if/when you need additional clarification on a problem you get incorrect.

You have ALOT of time left -just don't burn yourself out. You have more than enough time. Take it easy. It's okay to take a couple days off or so here and there. Do short study days for a while. Just make sure you have enough energy to hit the books hardcore in the week 1/2 or so leading up to your exam. That's my advice.

    REG - Passed!!
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
    AUD - Passed
