What day are you taking it? My study book arrives today and I am planning to sit in about 7-8 weeks as well and also have a family and full-time job. Any hints, advise, etc. sure cannot hurt!

@kyle.brown, do as many MCQs as possible and when you miss a question stop and write down how to answer the question correctly.

Some might say you are just memorizing the MCQs, but if you're writing down how to get the correct answer you'll be learning the concept. Also, watching your averages go up gives you added confidence which helps to motivate to knock out more MCQs.

    REG - 88
    AUD - 98
    BEC - 88

@kyle.brown I think you really need to understand the concepts before you move on to the MCQs. You should at least read and take a few notes on the concepts i.e. formulas, J/Es on how to work out certain problems. Are you an audio visual learner? If you are I highly recommend the Roger CRAM for FAR. It's $225 (maybe they even have a discount). He's a great teacher on the foundation of the concepts on FAR which gives you more confidence in working the MCQs. If you don't want to spend the extra money he does have some videos on youtube if you want to check them out. I practiced doing J/Es with most of the MCQs and really worked my weak areas (bonds, S/E, non-monetary exchanges, pensions) before I moved on to other topics. Also, took more time to learn NFP and government.
