I am about 15 credits short of 150 and I am looking for the easiest way to get there.

    – I am contemplating CLEP/DSST tests but I am already studying for the CPA — how hard/demanding are these tests?

    – Community college is another option

    – Did anyone take classes at online-only schools? How did that go?

CLEP rules! I got 9 credits in five weeks, and paid a little over $300.

All you need to do is to find a college that will add CLEP credits to the transcript (check first with community schools), ask about what their passing score is and take the exam. You will know if you passed or failed right away. The difficulty of the exams varies, but when I studied for management, microeconomics & macroeconomics I found them to be very easy. My guess you will too, 80 on FAR! Congrats!

I also took on-line classes through a local community college. They are just like real classes, but without the commute and dull lectures.

Check to see if your school has 8 weeks classes available (accelerated version), instead of 12 weeks. Good luck!
