Applied to a few big Four Accounting firms as experienced several months ago, however, I have not gotten the rejection email stating that I was no longer being considered for the position. Is there anyone who can give as to some sort of clue if this means that I am possibly still being considered?

A few months?? It probably means you're lost somewhere in cyberspace. With the volume of applications that Big 4 receive year-round, you can't (usually) just apply online and have that be the end of the process for you.

Not sure what your experience is, but if you've got some public accounting experience then Big 4 loves you! If you have passed all (or parts) of the CPA, you are almost golden child for them! Again, this is general, so it depends a lot on timing and the size of your market as well.

Search “EY recruiter Dallas” and change up the firm name and location and you'll easily find recruiters on Linkedin. Message 1 recruiter from each firm each week until you get a response from a firm. Continue with the rest until you get an offer you are willing to take.

Some companies do look at online apps, but a lot don't look until someone has spoken with you. Show some initiative! It goes a long way.

Agree with fuzyfro89. Your application was probably never looked at. The rejection is probably a canned response sent by the system whenever an application has been sitting unused for a certain period of time.

    What's your prior experience in?
