Brain Dump?

    Does anyone do this as part of your test strategy? I’m TERRIBLE with memorization so I am thinking about using a few minutes to just write down Mnemonics. I’ve not done this with the previous 3 exams I’ve taken, but they didn’t have as much plain memorization involved. I don’t want to waste time though.

    Thoughts?

    AUD = 85
    FAR = 79
    BEC = 79
    REG = 65, 72, 75!

    I AM DONE!!

    I did it but make sure you wait until the clock is running because you aren't supposed to do it before hand. I always did it then nothing I had planned to do that for was on the test. But if it had been, it would have been well worth it.

    I've read about this being done before and being successful, but yeah, I'd also make sure you've actually signed onto and started the exam first (like, you're at question #1), just to prevent any security issues.

    I performed a “brain dump” before my tests, and I believe you have 10 minutes to get through those introductory screens before you are timed out of the software. So, I sat down and immediately started writing my memorized info down, and then had an internal clock in my head to make sure I got all the way through those intro screens before the 10 minutes was up.

    Don't want to take the chance? Then get all the way through and start your exam, and then “brain dump”. However, I utilized my written notes extensively on my tests. YMMV.

    AUD - 93
    BEC - 80
    REG - 86
    FAR - 83

    Well, I ended up not doing a brain dump and I'm glad, because it wouldn't have helped on more than 1 or 2 questions, and I remembered them just fine without writing out all of my Mnemonics.

    Brain Dump = what happens the day of, and day before, your exam. When everything you've learned melts together into one big ball of knowledge and you start confusing concepts and formulas. And then, someone hits the “DEL” button and you feel like you know nothing. That is Brain Dump, and yes, you are ready.

    As much as you feel like you remember nothing it slowly comes back during the test.

    you'll be fine, i always felt the exam was great at not purposely trying to confuse you. And if you didn't get an answer right it's because you didn't understand the concept from the review fully
