Every page of my notes state that the holding period for the Built-In Gains Tax must be 5 years. However, I also noted that in 2014, that same holding period may increase to 10 years. Does anyone know what the holding period for the Built-In Gains Tax for S. Corps is for 2014 (5 or 10 years)?
