I was wondering if anyone has any insight on trying to take an exam during busy season. The test will be BEC if that makes any difference. I am working at a Big 4 in audit, so I'm sure the hours will be pretty tough, but this will be my first busy season, so I'm not 100% sure what to expect. Any one have any experience on trying to take the exam during busy season?

I took FAR last year on February 24th, so it was close to the end of my first Big 4 busy season. It really depends on a lot of factors. For instance, my client was about 10 minutes from my house, so I would get to work by 7:30am, work through lunch, run downstairs to get some Cuban coffee around 6pm (it's Miami so you can get it anywhere) and then head home around 8:30pm to study for a few hours before going to sleep. It was my lowest test score, but I still did well. One thing to keep in mind is that it might be harder to get the team's blessing to take the exam on one of your allowed testing days. I had to take mine on a Saturday, but ultimately it was worth it to finish my last exam (AUD) by mid April and move on.

Pretty impressive that you were able to do FAR during a busy season.
I think OP can do it considering BEC does not demand as much preparation time compared to FAR. I am planning to have my last test finished up in Oct/Nov. so I wont have to worry about busy season.
