Hi all,

I got a letter from CA board that they have received all the required documents to start the review. As per your experiences can they still ask for some other documents apart from their required list of documents which I already submitted accordingly and when I can expect to hear from them, as per letter it says 4 to 6 weeks but in practicality how much time they normally take. As I am waiting for my license to get a good job, this wait is killing me every day. Thanks.

When did you mail out your application? I sent mine about 2 weeks and they just cashed out my check today. I email CBA a few days ago and they said entire process take about 4-6 weeks, from the day they receive the application to issue license number. I know how you feel as I'm waiting in desperate as well.

They received my application 1/21/14 and the letter saying all documents received and will start review process dated 2/24/14, don't know how much time more, desperate to receive license.

Five business days after I received the letter you just received, I got the letter asking me to pay up $60 for the license fee. So my experience has been pretty good. Never asked for anything more. I did hear a unique situation where the father is signing off on his daughter's experience, and they got called in to interview.

I just showed up on the CBA website today with a license number. I mailed my application on 12/31. It took about 64 days total from mailing in my application, receiving the various letters, then finally getting my license number. There's another thread where others from California have shared their wait time while waiting to get their applications processed.
