They sent me a notice just last week saying they received all the required docs for my application and will have the results of my application review within 4-6 weeks. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive word yesterday in the mail that my application will be approved pending receipt of the initial license fee ($120). And even better, I convinced my boss to let me reimburse the fee!

Great to hear. I submitted my CA application materials on 10/17, so maybe I'll get lucky and have licensing all completed and in hand by December.

IME, both the CBA and NASBA moved very fast in the exam application process. My CBA app was approved within two weeks of submitting, two different times (first NTS expired); and NASBA issued my two NTS's within days of receiving my requests. Maybe I was just hitting an “off season,” but it was pretty nice.

Any California candidates have any idea of how long it takes from when you send in the fee until you get your license/wall certificate?

I sent my license fee check about a week and a half ago, but I haven't heard anything from them yet. They haven't cashed in the check yet. Your fee was $120 though? Mine was $60 if post marked before 01/31/2014 and $120 after 01/31/2014.

    ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah mine was a flat $120. Now every day I'm going to be using the CBA License Lookup to see if I am in their database yet. 🙂

Fee is based on birthday; license exp. Is based on bday. Im also waiting. fastest way to check is through cba license lookup. Last license issued was on 10-24. Next one will be 120785.

Some of my friends got their licenses about 3 weeks after they applied.
